I'm at my homestay right now. I live in a neighborhood of Rosso called Satara and about 30 other Americans live here. My new Mauritanian name is Marieme N'day. I'm doing well, but the heat needs some taking used to. We take siestas for about 3 hours a day. My host family is nice and I have 5 sisters. Im pretty sure they like me, because one of my sisters had a baby and she named her Marieme Summer! So I have a namesake here, I'm super excited about that. I bought her the cutest little baby outfits and everything.
I don't have much time, but I'll try to update more tomorrow when I go to the cyber.

Good luck with your time in the RIM. Sorry for not replying back earlier. If you have any questions about life in the RIM, feel free to shoot them my way. I was there from 1999-2001. I survived the whole two years. Take care! - Brad
